Overtown Children and Youth Coalition

In the fall of 2012, the Overtown Children and Youth Coalition (OCYC) was formed as a collective impact approach to addressing the needs of Overtown’s children in a more holistic manner. Establishing the OCYC was a groundbreaking step with many of the anchoring Overtown community based organizations and set the direction of a collaborative systems-level approach. OCYC has been able to create a shared vision for community-wide action that promotes excellence, empowerment, economic growth and success for all Overtown children and youth.
