Overtown Youth Center

Overtown Youth Center (OYC) is a year-round youth and community development agency that provides comprehensive, wrap-around services to youth ages 8-25 and families in Miami and surrounding communities. It is the mission of OYC to inspire, empower and enrich by fostering hope through services. OYC was founded in 2003 with financial support from former Miami Heat basketball player Alonzo Mourning and real estate magnate Martin Z. Marguiles to assist one of Miami’s oldest and poorest neighborhoods in combating many adverse socio-economic issues facing residents throughout the community.
