Towners for Life

“Follow me as I lead you my child, but do not step in my footsteps. For I have gone through trial and error. Follow me, but not too closely. Be free to walk your own path just follow my direction. Since the very day I’ve laid my eyes on you, I knew that God be true and blessed me with a task that only I could handle. My dear child, follow me. Follow me. Follow me until you are strong in your body and in your soul. Don’t call me a fool my child, don’t question my moves. Sway when I sway. Jump when I jump. Skip when I skip and run when I run; for I promise to never lead you to harm.” ~ Tiffany

In life we are faced with many challenges and finding the right path to take is something that lingers in our heads and hearts for a lot of our lives. Who should I trust? Who is my role model? Who has my best interests at heart? In order to find this person or people we have to first accept that we want this guidance. Sometimes we just need to trust ourselves and let our heart be our guiding key. Whatever the case may be, we have to learn to be accepting, thoughtful and understanding, because just like you, there are others around us searching for their guidance.

Let’s help each other, no task is too little. Help someone who is lost by giving them directions. Hold the door open for someone who has their hands full. Give a hug to those who feel broken. Help keep your community clean. All of these responsibilities fall onto us. We seem to forget that we are all placed on the same planet, and that we are all of the same humanity, it’s time to start acting like it! We can start by helping, providing guidance or just being kind to one another.
